We, here at Water Heaters Only, Inc, get excited this time of year as Earth Day rolls around! For us, every day is Earth Day and we take our water conservation seriously.
We looked into the celebration of the holiday known as Earth Day and we were surprised to see that it is almost as old us! Earth Day began in 1969, in our hometown of San Francisco, when a peace activist named John McConnell gave a speech to a UNESCO conference about honoring the Earth and the concepts of Peace.
Almost 50 years later, Earth Day is celebrated officially on April 22 but communities start hugging Mother Earth throughout the month of April.
We travel to Earth Day celebrations all over the West Coast to demonstrate energy efficient hot water heaters and exciting alternatives to a big gas bill every month!
